Emily Emily grew up in a family that had a real love, appreciation and most of all talent, for art. Her mother took art classes and she has an aunt who is an interior designer. She also has fond memories of visiting another aunt and uncle, who had an art studio in their basement filled with ceramics and drawings. So it’s really no surprise that this passion for the arts runs so deeply through Emily’s soul. Emily’s last decade has been spent working at Stems where she worked with Jean Williams. Jean taught Emily how to “pull it all together “ and that anything is possible if you work hard enough. While working at Stems, Emily met Sheri. The two quickly became friends. Throughout their friendship, they discovered that they shared a mutual love for flowers in unique and beautiful ways and an interest in flower history. Now with Emily on board, the three are merging art with flowers, the forgotten ways with the new and embarking on a new adventure in flowers. Though Emily now focuses most of her energy on her flowers, in her down time, she still enjoys exploring other ways to release her artistic expression. She is hoping to create a spot in the shop to bring out some canvas and start painting again. But her favorite pastime is probably relaxing and hanging out at home with her puppy, Jack. |
